As an incorporated not-for-profit society, membership is very key in our agenda because it grants the younger generations of Insurance professionals the maximum benefit inherent in networking with other colleagues across Africa. Our Constitution and objectives have been well drafted to meet the present challenges inherent in the African Insurance Industry thereby creating an enabling and dynamic environment for the Insurance profession to stride in Africa. Our network of membership is aimed at New and potential entrants into the industry thereby providing a platform for genuine and professional relationships. Due to our intending collaborations with our Mother companies, members will be availed a first-hand information of the happening within the industry and be abreast of opportunities and insurance events all across Africa. Membership is absolutely free to avoid segregation of any sect within the industry as our major focus is to drive Insurance penetration in Africa. His professional insurance career debut was with Zenithe Insurance S.A Cameroon in 2016 and served as an underwriter for two years. Later appointed Reinsurance Manager and Head of Studies, cumulatively with the position of Assistant Technical Director. Served in that capacity until joining the African Insurance Organisation (AIO) in May 2020. He is an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and has been the Cameroon Country representative of the West African Insurance Institute (WAII) since 2017 till present.
She is currently a Manager at Compagnie Algérienne des assurances CAAT, which is the second largest insurance company in the Algerian Insurance market. Rachida has more than 5 years of experience in the insurance market where she grew through the ranks from a Customer Service Officer at AXA Assurance Algeria in 2015 to the Deputy Sales Manager in 2016. She later moved to Compagnie Algérienne des assurances CAAT in 2017 as Agency Manager. She is currently in the central reinsurance department of the organization.
His professional insurance career started with ACICO in 2016 and served as Head of Technical for two years. Later Joined ACTIVA Liberia LTD as Senior Underwriter and Operation Officer. Served in that capacity until 2019 at which time he joined DENYS Liberia as risk and insurance consultant. He currently works as a Management Consultant at ACCIDENT & CASUALTY INSURANCE COMPANY (ACICO) in Liberia. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute UK and has been a support pillar of the West African Insurance Institute (WAII) programs in Liberia since 2018 till present.
Joseph is an Underwriter at Metropolitan Cannon General Insurance. Metropolitan is a division of MMI Group Limited, an authorized financial services provider. He has over two years’ Experience in General Business. He is a Registered Member of the Society of Underwriting Professional which is part of the CII Group. Furthermore, he is an MBA student at United State international and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a specialty in risk and insurance management. He currently holds a certificate in Insurance and Reinsurance from the London school of insurance under (YIPP) African re Program.
Tawanda commenced his professional career as an Industrial and Manufacturing Engineer working for an Iron & Steel Manufacturing Company in Zimbabwe as a Production Engineer and acquired vast experience in the Industrial and Manufacturing Industry. Tawanda entered the Insurance market in 2017 where he has been furthering his career as a Risk Engineer & Loss Adjuster specializing in claims related to Construction, Engineering, Machinery Breakdown, Marine, General Property & Liability Claims as well as Risk Surveys. Tawanda is currently the Branch Manager of Loss Management Consultancy International (Mozambique) Ltd based in Beira.
